Terms and Conditions

1. Definition
'Condition' means the standard terms and conditions of sale set out below, including any special terms and conditions agreed in writing by us.
'Contract' means any contract for goods or services made between you and us
'Goods' means the products which we shall supply in accordance with these Conditions.
'We' means The bathroom fitting co 'You' means the customer seeking to purchase the Goods from us and 'Your' shall be construed accordingly.

2. Cancellation Rights 
You have a Statutory right to cancel your order before dispatch or within 14 after the date of delivery or signing of an installation contract by giving us notice of cancellation. 

To do this you can email info@bathroomfitting.co Quoting your order reference number. 
If you return goods to us during this cooling off period the following conditions apply:-
Goods must be in new condition, In the original packaging, unused and un-installed.  
We will refund the full cost of the unwanted goods including delivery charges, as soon as practically possible and in any case within a 28 day period of the date of notice of cancellation. Costs for Installation where fitting time has been booked cannot be refunded. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the unwanted goods to us.   
This right of cancellation does not apply where goods are specifically made to your specification or personalised at your request or specially ordered by us on your behalf. Please also see Returns for full details of our return policy.


3. Pricing
The price of the goods shall be the price given on the date you place your order and will be confirmed on your invoice.The price of the goods will include VAT at the prevailing rate if applicable. Delivery charges may be applicable to your order.
Prices correct at time of print. Errors and omissions excepted.

4. Delivery
Delivery will be scheduled against receipt of cleared funds through any of our payment channels. 
We will endeavour to deliver your goods within 5 - 7 working days following the reciept of cleared funds. Where this is not possible we will advise you of the earliest date for delivery. If this is not acceptable you have the right to cancel under 2 above 

You shall be responsible for making all necessary arrangements to take delivery of the goods. 
Home deliveries are generally made between 8.00 a.m.. and 5.00 p.m.. Monday to Friday
Goods may be delivered direct from our suppliers, who operate 1 Man delivery vehicles to keep costs as low as possible. 
Delivery drivers will deliver to the door, kerb or nearest accessible location. Drivers cannot take items upstairs or into dangerous or unsafe locations. Please ensure help is available for heavy or awkward deliveries.  
When your delivery arrives we ask that you check that all goods ordered are delivered and that any shortages are advised to us immediately. Do not sign for goods not delivered. Please conduct a visual inspection of your order to check for any obvious damages. You are not expected to unpack every item on delivery but do not accept any goods which appear from the packaging etc to be liable to be damaged on later inspection, email photos to us if possible, if in any doubt.
Once your goods have been delivered you become responsible for them.
You must notify us as soon as practically possible of any damages, faults or missing items. We will organise collection and replacements as soon as practicably possible.

Any goods found to be damaged and returned must be in the original packaging un-installed & unused.
Please do not fit any damaged goods, as our suppliers will not replace or refund damaged items which have been installed. 
We strongly recommend that you do not confirm a start date with your installer until full receipt and inspection of your goods as we will not be liable in any way due to delay, shortage or damage for any trades person costs, consequential loss or compensation. 
If you fail to take delivery of the Goods on the date agreed or fail to give us adequate delivery instructions, we reserve the right to charge for any subsequent deliveries.5. Warranty And Liability
Proof of purchase is required before any warranty claim can be assessed.
All products available from us are supplied with the suppliers Guarantee.
Suppliers give varying length warranties on their products and this will be indicated in the their product brochure and on our web site. 
After installation warranty claim goods must be returned to us for inspection and report. We will process claims as quickly
as possible and in any case within 28 days of receipt. Goods found to be faulty will be repaired replaced or credited within this period. We will not be responsible for removal or re-installation cost of goods supplied by us and installed by others. 
Goods found not to be faulty or not covered by the terms of the guarantees will be returned. 

6. General
All pictures on our website are the best indication we can give of the original item and are for illustration purposes only. All images are displayed with the manufacturers/suppliers permission.
On occasion the manufacturer may make small changes to the design of a product, due to this, the item/items you receive may have small differences to the picture displayed on the website. The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.
All products are subject to stock availability at the time of ordering. While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer of sale.
The Contract and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England, and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

7. Refund Policy

The consumer contracts regulations 2013 allows you to cancel your goods within 14 days of ordering or if  already dispatched within 14 days of delivery to you. Notification of cancellation must be given in writing to us at- info@bathroomfitting.co

The goods must be returned to us within a further 14 days of cancellation or delivery.

The cost for the return of the goods and liability for them will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Provided, The goods are returned in a new unused and re-saleable condition in the original packaging your credit will be issued including any delivery charge made. Subject to the following :-
Goods that have been used, installed or damaged during installation or had any Manufacturers seals or similar packaging removed will not be considered as re-salable, nor will any goods that have been unpacked and trial or test fitted.
goods that have been opened or removed from the original packaging will be sent to our suppliers for inspection and report and if accepted by them for credit a refund will be issued to you. Please allow up to 14 working days for this. Some suppliers will make a repackaging and re-stocking charge if required to return goods to an as new re-salable condition. This will be deducted from any credit agreed.

This right of cancellation does not apply where goods are specifically made to your specification or personalised at your request or specially ordered by us on your behalf. Goods sold on a trade supply basis are not returnable.

Goods that are not accepted for credit or refund will be available for return to you for 30 days after which they will be disposed of

Your Statutory Rights Are Not Affected by any of these terms.
